5 Content Repurposing Hacks That Will Save Massive Amounts Of Time
As a small business owner or online creator, content is KING. We spend hours brainstorming, writing, creating, editing, and posting content across platforms to grow our business and connect with our audience.
Trying to be active and consistent across multiple platforms can either be exhausting or the best thing you ever did for your business.
It can all work together cohesively to build your business, brand, and provide tremendous value to your audience.
So how do we go from exhausted to empowered with our content creation strategy?
We repurpose the heck out of everything.
I’m sharing a few ways you can repurpose your content and build systems that work together to build your audience and reach across platforms.
1. Turn that Youtube video or Facebook live into a Podcast Episode.
This is probably one of the easiest ways to repurpose your content. Simply take the audio file from your videos and repurpose it as a podcast episode. This way, your audience can decide whether they like to consume your content via video or audio.
It will also give you access to different audiences who may not have otherwise discovered you.
2. Take your audio and transcribe it into a blog post.
This is one of my favorite options, one I actually do for some of my clients.
Once your Youtube video, Facebook lives, or podcast episode is transcribed into a blog post, you can promote it on Pinterest with the embedded video or podcast episode.
I love this option because it allows your content to build off each other, promote each other, and gives your audience more choices.
Once pinners click through to your content, they can read the blog post and find the embedded video or podcast episode. This not only drives more traffic to your website, but to your Podcast or Youtube channel as well.
I love providing content in different forms, so my audience has a variety of options and can choose to digest the content in any way they prefer. While each piece of content works to promote the others.
3. Take your big pieces of content and turn them into social posts
There’s no need to come up with a ton of different content ideas for your social posts.
You can refer back to larger topics you’ve covered on your Podcast, Youtube, or Blog, then break them down into bite-sized pieces that you can share on Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter, and so on.
This will allow you to give value to your audience and promote your larger pieces of content if they want to learn more about the topic.
4. Repurpose your social posts across platforms
Don’t stop by posting on Instagram if you have other social platforms for your business, you can repurpose the content to post it on Facebook, Tiktok, etc.
I have yet to start a Tiktok, but I’ve seen a lot of people growing on Tiktok and getting a lot of followers on Instagram as a result.
You can repurpose the same ideas you have for your Tik Tok videos and take them a step further by making graphics for Instagram and IG TVs or stories. While simultaneously growing both platforms.
5. Take it all and bundle it into a course.
Lastly, do not let all your work go to waste.
There is no need to start from scratch if you want to create a course.
Just compile some of the content you already created, take it a step further to start building the base for a course.
Your audience responses to your content and their questions will help you build an irresistible and widely profitable course.
There are so many ways you can go about repurposing your content.
I hope some of these options helped you think of some ways you can save time by repurposing content for your business.
